100 is the number of families on the waiting list at Highlands Housing, which began in 2007 as an effort to meet local needs (affordable, high-quality housing for working families of modest means) and increase employment by building homes.
Our challenge is to meet this growing demand from working families for high-performance homes. We know that handling the demand means serving at least 100 households a year, and In order succeed, we will need to a fund that can provide flexible financing to these homebuyers. This fund will help families afford down-payments and will reduce the homebuyer’s first mortgage.
